Design Legends ("DL") had the distinct honour to interview legendary designer Pin Shuan Chen ("PSC") for their original perspective and innovative approach to design as well as their creative lifestyle, we are very pleased to share our interview with our distinguished readers.
PSC : I graduated from Nottingham Trant University in England and My major is Illustration. Now working as an in-house designer in Aunt Stella which is a cookie and gift shop in Taiwan.
PSC : I love to draw since I was a kid, I like to imagine how things will be if I do some changes about it. And I found out this is something let I am good at.
PSC : I would like to design some children's products since I found out I am good at children's style, and I would like to combine my illustration skill in the design.
PSC : I think people could go out and see more different things, get new thought and feedback from the outside world.
PSC : Maybe I will be a teacher or a freelance illustrator draw some picture book.
PSC : Make the world a better place, let people feel happy when they saw the design.
PSC : My family and friends, always stand by my side and give me support.
PSC : It also can be better, so it is very hard to finish it, maybe depending on the Deadline.
PSC : researching and sketching, sketching can help me find the way to the right path.
PSC : Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, something will add hand-drawing like watercolor.
PSC : It is very important in the design, it will help people catch the story and feeling about the design.
PSC : how did this idea come out, what skill did they use?
PSC : Can respect each other and like their work, but also give comment on the design, and improve together.
