Interview with JANE AO at Wednesday 22nd of May 2019:

DL: Did you choose to become a designer, or you were forced to become one?
JA : In China, in fact, interior designers, he is not as standard as architects. and so. Everyone, as long as you have a certain eloquence, or know how to make simple drawings, you can say that you are an interior designer, but in fact. All the qualities that interior designers need to have are not less than that of any plane, architectural or structural designer. He is a very comprehensive quality manifestation. There is only one point in the outbreak, which is the presentation of space works . Choosing to be an interior designer is because I am very happy to enjoy this process. Even if he is very painful, he is very painful at the design stage. I learns how to communicate with Party A, but I still enjoy the moment when my design is presented.

DL: Who helped you to reach these heights, who was your biggest supporter?
JA : Actually it is my daughter, because she has some ideas, and these ideas are not available under the adult's solid thinking, so when I want to do a new plan, I will discuss with her and ask Asking her thoughts, she can understand nothing, but she can draw on the artboard. She thinks what this thing should be. I think this is a good parent-child interaction time.I can find in her body the imagination that I have faded and weakened, because the child's imagination is infinite.

DL: What helped you to become a great designer?
JA : Don't forget the original beliefs, the obsession with the design itself.

DL: Do you think design sets the trends or trends set the designs?
JA : For the Chinese interior design sector, I think that the final development of this industry is that everyone is a designer, that is to say, indoor designers need to have higher quality and higher requirements before they can achieve their own professionalism. In order to get a customer, a client, or even a space consumer is also a good endorsement. Therefore, it is necessary to have a greater ability of interior design and a comprehensive strength test.

DL: Which books you read had the most effect on your design?
JA : What has a big impact on me is a book that has nothing to do with design. The book is called "Tibet Life and Death Book". It allows me to calm down and observe life and know the meaning of life. This book will make me When I am very restless, I can calm down quickly.

DL: Irrelative of time and space, who you would want to meet, talk and discuss with?
JA : If time and space have nothing to do with, I must want to see Van Gogh most, I want to tell him that you are very great, you are not recognized by others at that time, I really appreciate you. I want to see Le Corbusier. I want to talk to him about how he presented the whole space with a very rigorous mathematical logic. Then when he died, he was only in a house of three squares. Inside to satisfy all the functions, one of the greatest architects, when he approached the end of life, only gave himself a very small space, he thought it was enough, in fact, he is what I think is very A magical person.

DL: How do you feel about all the awards and recognition you had, is it hard to be famous?
JA : For all the awards I have received, I think my program can be recognized by some judges or teachers. This makes me very happy, but in fact he can't bring anything from the design point, because all the awards are Representing the past, and there are more plans in the future, more ideas to be implemented, I am very happy, I can do a lot of things that people like, but this is just a past, I need to constantly break through By myself, with the team constantly making new attempts, we can continue to enrich our design history.
