DL: Could you please tell us a bit about your design background and education?
MM : 1. Chawin Hanjing , Bachelor of Fine Arts Major Of Interior Design at Rangsit University- Paitoon Keatkeereerut , Bachelor of Fine Arts Major Of Interior Design at Rangsit University, Bangkok Thailand and Graduate Diploma Interior Design at Chelsea College of Art and Design. A part of University of the Arts London UK.

DL: What motivates you to design in general, why did you become a designer?
MM : 2. The Stories around us. We believe that “Livable design creates new days.”

DL: Did you choose to become a designer, or you were forced to become one?
MM : 3. Yes, we chose, we want to be a designer

DL: What do you design, what type of designs do you wish to design more of?
MM : 4. We design “Narrative Furniture “. We would like to design art installation.

DL: What should young designers do to become a design legend like you?
MM : 5. Research, Observation, Practice.

DL: What distinguishes between a good designer and a great designer?
MM : 6. Everything you can imagine, is real. Who can do it? It’s a great designer.

DL: What makes a good design a really good design, how do you evaluate good design?
MM : 7. Smile

DL: What is the value of good design? Why should everyone invest in good design?
MM : 8. Identity , taste

DL: What would you design and who would you design for if you had the time?
MM : 9. Space for community in countryside, Countryman

DL: What is the dream project you haven’t yet had time to realize?

DL: What is your secret recipe of success in design, what is your secret ingredient?
MM : 11. Stories , Shape and structure that related to narrative and functions

DL: Who are some other design masters and legends you get inspired from?
MM : 12. Peter Zomthor, lecorbusier , Mies van der rohe

DL: What are your favorite designs by other designers, why do you like them?
MM : 13. Simple and close to nature because think less, be more is a powerful.

DL: What is your greatest design, which aspects of that design makes you think it is great?
MM : 14. Baan dinner set cupboard because Shape and structure that related to narrative and functions.

DL: How could people improve themselves to be better designers, what did you do?
MM : 15. Research, Observation, Practice.

DL: If you hadn’t become a designer, what would you have done?
MM : 16. I have no idea.

DL: How do you define design, what is design for you?
MM : 17. Narrative Furniture.

DL: Who helped you to reach these heights, who was your biggest supporter?
MM : Social surrounding, family.

DL: What helped you to become a great designer?

DL: What were the obstacles you faced before becoming a design master?

DL: How do you think designers should present their work?
MM : 21. Be…above all, be yourself.

DL: What’s your next design project, what should we expect from you in future?
MM : 22. Various design that it’s not only furniture. It will be more art or space design.

DL: What’s your ultimate goal as a designer?
MM : 23. Roadshow in foreign countries.

DL: What people expect from an esteemed designer such as yourself?

DL: How does design help create a better society?
MM : 25. Taste as a social sense

DL: What are you currently working on that you are especially excited about?
MM : 26. Secret, we haven’t done it yet.

DL: Which design projects gave you the most satisfaction, why?
MM : 27. Baan dinner set cupboard project because it was a big opportunity to win it

DL: What would you like to see changed in design industry in the coming years?
MM : 28. Nothing new for a while because economic depression.

DL: Where do you think the design field is headed next?
MM : 29. Europe and Scandinavia.

DL: How long does it take you to finalize a design project?
MM : 30. Depend on God, 1 day may be 1 year we don’t know.

DL: When you have a new design project, where do you start?
MM : 31. Now it’s on process to do it

DL: What is your life motto as a designer?
MM : 32. “Livable design creates new days”

DL: Do you think design sets the trends or trends set the designs?
MM : 33. In my opinion, trends follows design. People loves something new and beautiful.

DL: What is the role of technology when you design?
MM : 34. It’s a big importance part to concern in design.

DL: What kind of design software and equipment do you use in your work?
MM : 35. Sketch up, auto cad and pencil and paper.

DL: What is the role of the color, materials and ambient in design?
MM : 36. It’s a big importance part to concern in design that related to narrative and functions

DL: What do you wish people to ask about your design?
MM : 37. Almost people don’t know what it is?

DL: When you see a new great design or product what comes into your mind?
MM : 38. We focus on the structure of thinking.

DL: Who is your ideal design partner? Do you believe in co-design?
MM : We believe in the power of co-design and we believe in sharing ideas what we thoughts.

DL: Which people you interacted had the most influence on your design?
MM : 40. Fancied man

DL: Which books you read had the most effect on your design?

DL: How did you develop your skills as a master designer?

MM : 44. Be happy, No I don’t think so
